Is the subject of a Restaurant: Impossible episode that was done here in Indianapolis closed? We had a comment on our Snooty Fox post from Ploughman saying this place is closed. Can anyone else confirm Ploughman’s comment? I don’t see any news on their website, so I’m curious.
It’s always sad to see a restaurant go, but based on the stubbornness of the owner on the show and also the reports I read of the restaurant’s behavior after the show, I can’t say I’m surprised.
Regardless, if anyone can confirm this information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If so, serves the owner right. Someone smart tries to rescue you and you still insist on not listening? Sorry, good luck next time.
I just drove by there on the way in to work and there is indeed a closed sign in the window saying thanks for the years. I would have snapped a pic but it was pouring.
What bothered me the most about that episode was the condition of the kitchen and how low the standards were. It was disgusting. I understand that you can be ass In debt, but that is not an excuse. I can easily understand the unwillingness to change. Change your product and your core customers (all be it, the very few you have) are gone. A few are better than none. I was on their e-mail list and they were trying to turn things around. I wish they would’ve, but I wish them the best in the next venture.
Geo beat me to it, I did the same thing this morning.
Here’s an article from the IBJ:

I was just there last Wedensday and had a Flat12 IPA (they also had SunKing) and decent sandwich. The guy was talking about bringing in Triton and a few other new beers. I’m shocked to hear they have closed based on what he was saying.
