Editor’s Note: Indy Food Geek’s first review will run tomorrow.
Allow myself to introduce…myself.
I am a graduate of Ball State University and I live in the Broad Ripple area with my wife and pets. I currently work for a large multi-national corporation in northeastern Indianapolis, but I have worked in the restaurant industry in the past. I love to cook, I love to eat and I can talk about food until I’m blue in the face.
A little about my tastes…
Turn-ons: Asian Food in all shapes and colors, Mexican food of all degrees of authenticity, local craft beer, old vine wines, expensive cutlery and good cheese.
Turn-offs: Chain restaurants (there are a few rare exceptions and I am happy to point them out), poor service, over-attentive service, sauerkraut, almonds, and Italian restaurants.
I’ll usually be covering the area of Indy north of I-70, as I rarely visit the lower-half of the beltway. While I intend to contribute as much as possible, there are a few places that I will never review, mostly because they’ve either been on the site before or they’re just so well established in the area that a review would be almost entirely pointless. This includes Yats and Broad Ripple Brew Pub. I love both of these places dearly and would gladly write them glowing reviews, but it would fall on deaf ears. Most people made up their minds about these places a long time ago and I’m in no position to change them.
Like the other fine WIBIA folks, I will adhere to the same review format. My restaurant visits will remain entirely anonymous and I’ll spill every dirty detail on here with a few pictures to boot. I’m open to restaurant suggestions and I’ll take feedback in any form.
Thanks for reading!

Welcome
I would love someone to review Asian Grill in Noblesville on the square.
