Everyone wants a piece of me. Ok, that is not true at all. However, I get excited when people get excited about talking about food and wanting to be a part of the blog. My inbox gets a good amount of traffic on odd ball offers and just plain out weird e-mails.
Evan (a chick) e-mailed me about a college assignment for her Intro to Media Writing course and said that she had to follow a blog for the semester and write something that would fit into the vision of the blog, so she asked if she could write a review? Evan is from St. Louis.
I thought this email was created by a bot, but I was flattered and after a few e-mails, I said why not?! Plus, she wrote this ass-kissing paragraph in her assignment….
“What I have found from regularly following “Would I Buy It Again?” is how straightforward and realistic the content on the blog is verses the average recipe and dining blogs available to the Saint Louis area.”
“Would I Buy It Again?” has friendly, approachable theme in it’s featured content. The writing on the blog is witty, conversational, and brief. Almost all of the posts tend to be honest and to the point which I find manages to capture my short span of attention. Every post contains a few photos of either the outside of the establishment, the food order or both which I find is a very thoughtful element because it allows readers to actually see the food and decide for themselves if it looks delicious or disgusting. Overall, I find that the blog is doing a really good job of accomplishing it’s goal, which is to either promote or warn food lovers from ranging demographics of the local restaurants that surround them. “
Her major is communication and I am not surprised based on those two paragraphs of BS! Kidding, but best of luck as she continues her studies.
