I recently tried the food and I thought it was great!! Especially if you have been to New Orleans you really appreciate how well they use all the right spice and ingredients. Chuck was the guy working and he was so friendly and quick to answer any questions. Will definitely Go Go again!! go-going to recommend to all!

I love this place, and I can’t believe it’s been here for 10 years! I agree, the chili cheese etouffee is not a true cajun dish, but I’m sure it’s one of their best sellers. It’s definitely better than Yats’ version, and Gumbo a Go Go will add crawfish if you really want. Anyone who doesn’t like their traditional crawfish etouffee does not appreciate the subleties of French cooking. My favorite is the datwich. I dream about this sandwich!

Also, I am amazed at how many veggie options these guys have, especially for being such a small place (3 vegitarian and 2 VEGAN options!!). My friends are all vegitarian and one is vegan, so it’s really great to have an affordable place where we can all get a real meal.

Ditto what Rick said, thanks for the review. Eyebrow threading is AWESOME and 10x faster, cheaper ($6) and more sanitary than waxing.

YAYA! A WIN I hear the Vodoo Chicken is good, but I am loyal to the Burbon Chicken- AMAZING! Also, when he has Carmelized Corn, that is a treat. My BF and I love the owner and I swear the food is better when he dishes it up. I THINK (suspect) the reason for no website is this is just his little retirement venture and he likes to keep it simple… but maybe he would accept some website work for free A Go-Go… I’M GOING TO ASK! Glad you enjoyed!

Eyebrow threading is an ethnic way of hair removal, no more or less unpleasant or gross than a hair waxing place. If the person who is doing yours is unsanitary you are going to the wrong person.

my wife is an esthetician so I’ve heard her talk about it…
they dont actually fill in your eyebrows with thread – they instead remove eyebrow hair by snaring it with a loop of thread (and pulling)

it is kind of nasty and not so sanitary – as they often keep the thread in their mouths as they work

anyway – good review!
