Arby’s $1 Value Menu

Arby’s debuted the above value menu a few months ago to realign themselves with the competition.  We will get around to a few more items, but when I saw #3 “Value Shake”, I had to see if I could get a Jamocha Shake.  The good news is that you can get it on the dollar menu now, but it is just a little bit smaller.   Okay…a lot of bit smaller.

The straw is at the bottom of the cup and you can see this is bigger than a solo cup, but not a full size shake by any means.  The current Jamocha Shake is $2.60, so this was a good deal for $1.00.

Would I Buy It Again?  Yes, totally.  For a $1.00, this was a great deal.  It does not have the pointless swirl and fancy clear cup, but this serving size was plenty to get my Jamocha fix.  Plus, the full size shakes are 600+ calories and if you are like I am and will finish it regardless of portion size, this smaller size will help your waistline and your pocketbook.

  2. I agree on your finding with the shake- I can barely finish a full sized one- but the sandwiches (I had the “Jr.” Roast Beef) are PATHETIC- literally 3 bites… and I have a small mouth. Even at McDonald’s and Burger King they give you a normal sized sandwich on the $1 menu. Was massively disappointed with that. Wonder if the value drink is the same size as the shake…?

  6. Arby’s is sad now. They are pricey and their food sucks. They use to be my favorite fast food restaurant and I would go there all the time despite the fact that they were so expensive. Now, they are last on my list of places that I want to go and this $1 menu certainly isn’t going to get me there any sooner.

  16. I wonder if you can get any shake in that size? One of the stupidest things about Arby’s (and I love’em, but!) is whenever they put out a limited edition shake, it’s only available in medium and large. NEVER small. I even ask, and they can’t do it. I’m like “So, you can’t take a small cup and pour the shake into that. I understand. ;) ” They’re attempt at greed keeps my money in my pocket. LOL

    But I sure do love their Chicken Cordon Bleu. mmm.

    At the one in my hometown they have warm chocolate chip cookies! Not here in NC though. Boo.

  22. Word. Arby’s. I swear, so today I went in to try out the new $1. menu. Oh look, they have the ham and cheddar sandwich. Bun + ham meat + cheddar “cheese”. OR the junior roast beef. Bun + roast beef meat + ? Can I add cheese to that junior roast beef (ie. beef and cheddar. Yeah, I don’t want the onion bun anyway. Yeah, I don’t want the nasty added sauce either, so easy, right?) No, you can’t have the beef and cheddar, you can only get the cheese on the ham and cheddar. BUT… it’s the same thing. BUN. MEAT. CHEESE. No, you can’t get that.

    Yeah, I tried this for about a minute before giving up. So silly. AND their $1. sandwiches are TINY! Gave it a try, won’t again. I’ll just stick to their chicken cordon bleu and go to McDonald’s when I want some $1. menu goodness. Cause the Arby’s $1. menu blows. LOL

  28. God do I miss the $5 for $5 days. Heck, I loved it when it was even $5 for $5.95. I’d get 5 roast beef and cheddar cheese melts, and I was in heaven. When they got rid of that, I couldn’t afford the alternatives. The price had risen exponentially!

    I was happy to see they had a dollar menu back. I liked the ham and cheese, though it was small. Completely dousing it in Arby’s sauce made it last a bit longer though….I love arby’s sauce so that’s not a predicament at all.

I love Arby’s the sandwiches are great especially the roast beef i do not like the cheddar because its too much cheese. they used to have a roast beef sandwich that included lettuce and tomatoes and it was the size of a whopper now you get a smaller sandwich for more money and get charged for the lettuce and tomato.As I stated before I’m a fan of Arby’s but with the prices and the quality it might not be for much longer.
