As you can tell, I have been on a chicken and biscuit kick lately. Bojangle’s was a major disappointment, but some of my loyal readers like it so I have a feeling that I had a bad meal. I decided to venture from my normal order of Sausage, Egg and Cheese McMuffin to try the Chicken Biscuit. I can’t remember the exact price, but it was right around $2.00 for the biscuit alone.
My first thought when I unwrapped it was “man…this thing is small.” The circumference is about as big as two pepper packets. However, it was a guilty pleasure and I thought that it tasted pretty good. I am sure a true chicken and biscuit connoisseur is cringing right now, but I have had worse. It had a nice peppery mix and a little bit of honey to moisten it up a little.
Would I Buy It Again? Probably not based on the value. I would have to eat two of them to make a dent. They would be a great add-on (I know, total fat ass move). I liked the taste, but the fast food chicken and biscuit award is still owned by Chick-fil-A.

I’m actually not that big of a fan of the CFA version of this either. CFA still gets the nod as the better product though. I just have issues with the biscuit. The chicken part is usually pretty decent I think.
This Chicken Biscuit from McD’s is $1.79 around my area.
Rumor has it, in my area, this will be vanishing from the menu.
Who cares if it’s a “fat ass move?” That thing is tiny.
Also, I still can’t wrap my head around breaded chicken for breakfast. Maybe I’m just mentally weak.
Your standard is mine as well, the sausage and egg mcmuffin. Hey, stick with what works.
not sayinging a thing, but still, can I lend you a bucket… mine ( my foot) is already in deep shit… well, as long as I am out , mac donalds has a pretty good breakfast, and good coffee.. think I will need that… maybe mcmuffin oh hell, you know I will have the pancakes, eggs, an stuff…
Bojangles cajun filet biscuit is an industry gold standard… you HAD to have just gotten a bad example.

Hadn’t tried a Micky D’s chicken biscuit for a while and got a BOGO coupon for it. So I got two for $2.17, this morning. I am a big fan of chicken biscuits, with BoJangles and Hardees leading the pack, by a long shot.
These things from McD’s were absolutely revolting. The chicken is the same as the nugget stuff, a molded patty of chicken scraps, best I can tell. I managed to choke down about half the first one, and threw the rest away. I wouln’d feed one of these to my dog. And I don’t particularly like my dog.
Just tried the McDonald’s chicken biscuit and was disappointed. They used the chicken that they use on the McChicken sandwich. I would’ve thought they’d use the chicken they use on the southern style chicken sandwich. It would be much better that way. Chic fil a still has the best chicken biscuit.
