Greek’s is a small business with four Indiana locations including the Fishers location I visited. Greek’s is closed every Monday and oddly enough, offers only a small, medium or extra large pizza size. Why no large? Although I have been to Greek’s several times with the last visit being over a year ago, nothing ever was great enough to get me to come back regularly…until now.
What I Got: XL Gourmet MEAT Pizza includes Italian sausage, meatballs, baked ham, bacon and double pepperoni. $19.21 – $1.50 coupon from http://www.coupons4indy.com/.
When I opened the box, the smell made me drool and the pizza was loaded with toppings. I was not sure what to expect from the meatballs but they were cut into small chucks and spread evenly throughout the pizza. Greek’s only uses milk cheese and not skim milk cheese. This results in a significantly better tasting pizza with a nicer consistency and big strands of melted cheese. I am one to usually give crust to the dog or trash can but ate every bit of this golden-brown hand-tossed Neapolitan crust made fresh daily. The crust was just thick enough to support the heavy load of toppings but not so thick that it got spongy or soggy like many other pizzas where all of your toppings end up sliding off the crust.
Would I Buy it Again? YES and highly recommended. Although it is expensive in comparison to many large franchise pizzas, this $17.71 purchase provided multiple meals for my family and has twice as many toppings as the typical $23-$25 pizza that I gave a positive review from the local Nancy’s Pizza franchise.

That’s one beautiful pie!
I’ve had Greek’s before (from the Broad Ripple location) and I can honestly say it was the greasiest pizza that I’ve ever had in my life. The funny thing is that I was told by my sister (who works there as a server) that they actually pat down the pizza with a napkin before they bring it to your table to get rid of some of the grease. Unreal. Imagine how greasy those things would be without doing that!
Despite the overwhelming amount of grease, the pizza was awesome.
That pizza looks fantastic. It’s always amazing to me that people continue to order from chains when there are local pizza joints in pretty much every city. You may pay a few bucks more but the quality you’re getting isn’t even in the same ballpark. Pizza Hut doesn’t even deserve to still be in business and last time I checked they’re numero uno.
+1 agree.
Greek’s in Muncie is a Ball State favorite. Their breadsticks are to DIE FOR. Not even kidding. They are drenched in the most delicious garlic butter ever. Next time you order pizza, you can ask for the crust to be brushed with the butter as well (if you are into that sort of thing). Now I have a craving.
We tried the b-rip location, had a chicken calzone (they call them ‘shells’) and a small garden pizza with the garlic butter crust the waitress recommended. It was a delish crust though I want to try the whole wheat next time. The calzone was great, too. The only disappointment really was the mushrooms on the garden pizza were canned, not fresh, so I won’t order with any next time as that’s a pretty big turn off for me. Still, most everything else quite good.
It is hard for me to understand how any pizza place would still used canned mushrooms and think it is a good idea. Canned mushrooms always knocks the pizza way down my list of potential choices.
the pizza snob in me says “that does look rather tasty indeed”.
There was a Greek place(Jimmie’s) on the western end of Williamsburg, Va., that had some of the better pizza I’ve been so lucky as to have tried. Up in the top 15 or so. (Their other meals were killer as well)
Sadly some Italians bought the owner out, and the place isn’t nearly as good. They changed everything, and when I’m up that way, I can no longer have one of the more unique pizza’s the area has seen. I miss that pie.
um. the thick greasy crust looks D-VINE.
Greeks has delicious pizza. If you can get them to bring it to you. Twice in two weeks we have ordered Greeks from work for lunch, and twice they have told me it would be half an hour to 45 minutes. Both times, they were unable to find their delivery driver and instead of calling us and informing us, they let us wait for hours. The first time, the pizza did eventually arrive. This last time, I was put on hold for about 15 minutes two times, and was told when I finally got to talk to a person that there was no way to deliver our pizza. This would have been good to know much earlier in the process. Two times is two too many. Never ordering from these people again. Ever. Two ruined lunches. Why would you accept an order for delivery and give a person a time frame if you have no idea where your delivery driver is?
