Just some a few things passing by that I would catch for you.

Goodfellas in Carmel closed.  They claimed to have the best pizza in the world.  Riddle me this, if you had the best pizza in the world…then…forget it, no need to beat a dead horse.

However, I will miss the…Chicken Francese.

I had another Goodfellas review to write, but I just never got around to it.   This was the picture…it was going to get a big fat WIBIA = NO!

C-ya Goodfellas

Sally Pie:  Lemon chicken garlic, rosemary potatoes, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, mushrooms, onions topped with cheddar scallion cream sauce.

I am not sure what I liked better, the Sally Pie or the song Mustang Sally.  If Mustang Sally played on the radio while I was eating this pizza, I might have ended it all at that point.

The good news is that Neal Brown is rumored to open Pizzology next month (fingers crossed).  Gastro Gnome is already on the scene taking pics.  Neal is on my very short list of Culinary Bad Asses…so look forward to many good, scratch that…better things to come from that location.

I am not sure if this is your type of humor, but this post last week from Epic Portions gave me a chuckle:  Bacon Bra.

Btw, if you need some summer music, I highly recommend the new album “Before The Frost…Until The Freeze” by The Black Crowes. In fact, I’m listening to it as I type right now.

They are truly one of the best bands ever to walk the planet and it make me happy to hear bands still playing “dust of the album rock music.”  I am a huge music fan so if you ever want talk great music or have a few things that I have to hear, e-mail me (or post them in the comments here).
