Chick-fil-A Cookies & Cream Milkshake

What I Got

:  Small Cookies & Cream milkshake from Chick-fil-A ~$2.50 (had a coupon for a free shake, so I forgot to look at the exact price)

The odd packaging of Chick-fil-A’s milkshakes has been covered on this site before by WIBIA, but it does nothing to detract from the shake at all because this thing is outstanding.  As you can see, it is their normal milkshake topped with an overflowing helping of whipped cream and a cherry.

The whipped cream and cherry is standard stuff and tastes as you would expect it and blends well with the milkshake.  The milkshake flavoring itself can be summed up in one word:  OUTSTANDING.  The shake has a very strong flavoring of cream that lingers in your mouth for quite some time after each bite (and for about a half hour after you are done with the shake as well) and is mixed with a healthy helping of crumbled Oreo-type cookies.  They really could do no wrong with this thing.

Would I Buy It Again?  Yes, absolutely, definitely…basically any word that says yes describes my feelings on this one.  Truly, this is one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had.  I got a small and it was the only thing I had for lunch as it was more than filling (HELLO brain freeze!).  If it were at all healthy to eat a milkshake every day, this would be the one I’d get.  On that health note, you’d think this would be the least healthy of all the Chick-fil-A milkshakes, but it checks in at a respectable 570 calories and is only beaten on the menu by the vanilla shake in terms of fewest calories.

It really is not difficult to see why Grub Grade loves this place so much…it is a REALLY GOOD fast food restaurant.

  1. Now I know where I GOTTA go tonight…. :)

  2. Dude!!!! Great choice! You know what I did last week? I had them make me this shake but using chocolate. It’s not on the menu but if you ask them nicely for a Chocolate Oreo Shake they should be able to hook you up. All they are doing is adding the cookie crumbles to vanilla so it’s no big deal to just do the same to choc. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner.

  3. Good idea. I actually prefer vanilla over chocolate, but I get the itch for chocolate every now and then. I’ll have to try that next time that I get the itch.

  4. I love chick-fil-a and all their food, especially their milkshakes. Now I don’t know about anyone else, but I go a to college-oriented chick-fil-a, if you ask for a milkshake expect a 5-10 minute delay.

I usually don’t order it because I know other people want their food and not be waiting because of me. But man, when I do get one, IT IS GOOD.

  5. Order your milkshake! Who cares if people have to wait! You have just as much of a right to get what you want as the people behind you do, so don’t let their guilt and impatience sway your order choice.
