I mean, he is everywhere. I open the mail today and I see this. He is on my coupons?
I mean, don’t get me wrong, I am a fan. I think that his Mesa Grill Cookbook is a great resource for modern Southwest, but when is he going to stop? He is like the John Mayer of cooking…

This is really a blasphemous post for you. Everyone that knows you knows that you have always had a man crush on Bobby. If you, of all people, are turning on him, it must be getting really annoying.
Hey! What you got against John Mayer? I actually like the cat.
Bobby has gotten way to sure of himself…granted I’ve never eaten at one of his establishments (I’m sure they’re good) but other chefs have gotten “big” without it going to their head. I like most of his shows and he seems to know what he’s talking about but I don’t like the air of superiority that he puts on…especially when he’s judging other’s food.
John Mayer = overexposed. Just tired of him. Sorry. He is a great guitar player though, I will give him that. I saw him years ago in Indy. It was at a place that held 1,000 people, I walked up to the door and bought a ticket for $10 or $15 and walked in. It was before “Room for Squares” came out, great show.
I ate at Mesa Grill in Vegas. It was solid. I want more Bobby the chef and less Bobby the entertainer.
I liked Bobby Flay better waaaay back when he started on the Food Network. I think the show was called Grillin’ and Chillin’ or something like that. He worked alongside some dense hillbilly that wore overalls. It was a good show.
I love Bobby Flays’ shows on Food Network. Throwdown is my favorite. If Food network wants to ax someone, get rid of:
Paula Deen. Her act was amusing at first, and I actually watched her show for her country cooking recipes. But she can be such a goober and her favorite ingredient is ALWAYS butter.
Rachael Ray. Actually, Im hoping her voice will give out soon. Then no more show. Have you heard her lately, she sounds hoarse all the time. She is the same as Deen..watchable at first, then annoying.
Food Network isn’t afraid to get rid of dead weight. Mario Batali, while a good chef, was let go a while back. It used to crack me up at the end of his show. He would create a great looking meal, then ALWAYS drown it with olive oil. And I mean DROWN it.

It wasn’t easy to write this post! I think that he is currently on 3 shows on the Food Network, coupons, and he hangs with Obama.

Hanging with Obama is NOT cool.
Agreed, agreed, agreed.
That would be an awesome show to be at. Room For Squares was a great album.

Ha, love it. Not a Paula Dean fan either.

– just ruined this for me.
I am sick of Bobby Flay taking classic recipes and adding green chilies and mango salsa.
Hahaha, so true!
