IndianapolisEater already did a Review on this, but since it was new, I thought that I would give it a try at my closest Taco Bell. He gave it the thumbs down…
WTF is this?!?!?! 89¢ for a tortilla shell and three small pieces of chicken and a sprinkle of rice, lettuce, cheese and avocado ranch. I took this picture, nothing removed, Scouts Honor.
Even at 89¢ on the value menu, this is a rip off. Taco Bell, please stop making this. It is a bad value abd at 440 calories it is not good for you and tastes horrible.
Would I Buy It Again? No, hell no. Glen Bell is rolling in his grave.

I would say bring that pitiful excuse for 440 calories back in and rub it in the manager’s face but sadly it wouldn’t do much harm.
I would have tried to get them to make me another one for sure.
Indianapolis Eater’s was like this as well. I got it to go so I didn’t complain….I do enough complaining on the blog!! I think that this is the standard. Amazing.
That is a disaster. Complete debacle. I can’t believe what I’m seeing. That picture is sad. I’ll get one of these burritos soon and see how the pics compare. I know Adam got the Grilled Chicken Taco recently and was impressed by it. This particular burrito you got is definitely Hall of Shame worthy.
Ha! Yeah, it was bad. That is a full dinner plate it is sitting on, so it gives you a clue on how big the tortilla is. I picked up 5 things from TB last night to try. The bleeding doesn’t stop either, but this was the worst.
Just curious, which TB did this come from? Might be interesting to compare them, store to store!
Looks like one of their cheese rollups with some shredded chicken on it…Hardly qualifies as a burrito
I have gotten these on several occasions and haven’t been impressed at all. I was excited to hear about a new chicken burrito with a new sauce, but was pretty damn disappointed.
I just had one of those and it is about 1/3 the size of a $.099 bean and cheese burritto from Del Taco. I don’t know why anybody goes to Taco Bell when there are just as many Del Taco’s avaiable.
Wish that was the truth! My closest Del Taco is 189 miles away…

This chicken burrito is awesome!!! I can’t believe how good this is – it tastes absolutely yummy! I have bought some all this week they were so good!

I’ve gotten these plenty of times, I think they’re great for the price. I’m in York, PA, and they look nothing like that picture, they’re very substantial. They actually just moved from 89 cents to 99 cents, but I still think they’re worth it. I’m going to go get some right now, and comment again with a (untampered) pic of one, they’re delicious =D
I am pretty picky but also on a budget. I do not do fast food a lot, but I go into taco bell and order 2 of these at least once a week for lunch and after tax it is $1.94, awesome! It fills me up too. From the looks of that picture who ever assembled your TB chicken burrito was not well trained or its possible that you were rude to them and this was how they got you back. I think the sauce is really great; they call it Spicy Avocado Dressing, but it is tangy like there is some lime in there. I don’t really taste any avocado actually, but very good nonetheless. I usually get an ample amount of chicken to say the least. Try being super nice to the people on the other side of the counter and feel your burrito to-go bag get heavier each time you walk out the door.

That picture had to be after you ate the guts out and licked the tortilla because ive eaten these every day since they came out for 89 cents and they are packed full of stuff almost an unbeliveable amount of stuff like they should be charging 2.99 for them or something like the grilled stuffed burrito these are a great deal for under a buck even after tax they still are less than a dollar. I give them 10 of 10 on this one. You might have been rude to the people working and got that thing because where I go they are great.
The chicken burrito does not have 400 some calories in it. I am a successful 1200 calorie dieter & one website said 200 cals, & another said 360, but I’m very sure not 4oo something. Additionally, it depends on how the Taco Bell makes it. Grove City PA makes great ones, but Butler PA’s suck & just taste like rice. They are good if made right & help with a low calorie diet making you feel full. I like Taco bell as long as the workers make the food as they should. I like it that Taco Bell carries Pepsi products (& not just yucky diet Coke), & that they have always let their customers fill their own (& get as much ice as they desire) & automatically be entitled to a refill.
ok the chicken burritos do not look like this and you can tell you took the stuff off and i get them all the time and they have tons of rice and cheese and chicken and sause
yup, I am sure that is the case. 2 reviews here on wibia and both of them have around the same amount. I wouldn’t doubt there is more on average, but this is the one that they gave me.

Curious. Is this the same thing as that new Black Taco they’re serving now? Just in a soft white shell?
Not the same thing. The new Black Jack taco includes a black shell (doubt it tastes different, but it obviously looks different), has a pepper jack cheese sauce, uses a different cheese topping blend and most importantly is made up of beef and not chicken.
I just got one of these at my local taco bell and I’m stuffed after eating just 1. I’ve been to several other Taco Bell’s and I have had 2 that looked like that one up there in the picture, both from the same restaurant.. it was mostly a “flavored” tortilla. For the most part taco bell seems to give you a great deal for $.89, just watch out for those cheaper ones.
Yeah, it looks likes your local Taco Bell ripped you off pretty good. The Taco Bell Chicken Burrito that I got from the local Taco Bell for the same 89 cents looks, and I imagine, tasted a lot better. I didn’t taste any avocado in mine though but it was still good!
