Grilled Chicken Soft Taco $0.89
No reason to go into this in depth. Indianapolis Eater reviewed it and I was inspired by yesterdays Grub Grade review. Warning, both of their reviews are far superior to this one.
I ordered mine as is, the other 2 reviews did it Fresco Style. The taco consisted of 4 small pieces of chicken, some lettuce, cheese and a flour tortilla (has TB ever used a corn tortilla?). For $.89, it was pretty good. I enjoyed it, but I missed the pico that you get when you Fresco. I would gladly exchange cheese for pico, plus you can see there wasn’t a lot of cheese.
Would I Buy It Again? Yes. For $.89 off the “Why Pay More Value Menu”… it’s a great deal. Go for the “Freso Style” and you have a winner. However, when you look at the pics of the other 2 reviews, they are very inconsistent, Indianapolis Eater looks like he won.
Btw, if you are not familiar with Grub Grade, get with it!!! They cover fast food like no one else…. Don’t worry, I won’t get jealous…well, maybe a little!

That’s a great idea, a corn tortilla from Taco Bell….obviously their hard shells are. I think that would go over well. Anyone know if they’ve ever offered them or tried them out?
These are definitely living up to expectations. I really like TB. Nothing can beat their prices and they taste ain’t all too bad. Their ingredients actually taste fresh to me.
I’m all about the “Fresco” menu now. You can order anything on the menu Fresco-style. I like that option. Thanks for the kind words my friend.
All I can say is boo-uh-to-tha-yah, this taco was always great back in the days of “.59, .79, .99..” at .79 a pop. I used to get them all of the time. Once they got up to either $1.40 or $1.50 they went WAY beyond not being worth it. Glad to see that at the same time they made the bone-headed move of getting rid of the spicy chicken soft taco they brought this back down to a reasonable price.
