Review: McDonald's McRib
Author: WIBIA | Filed under: Food Reviews, Recommended: Fast FoodWhy is the McDonald’s McRib not a full time menu item? Well, the McRib is back in Indianapolis. A promo that has seen a few farewell tours, but it is too good to quit. I saw an ad for it at another MCD, so I called my closest one and they had it. I would recommend to phone first.
What I Ate: McRib Combo $4.00
It tasted just how I remembered it. Pickle, Onion, BBQ, Sesame Seed Bun and formed Pork. It could’ve used a little more sauce, but it was pretty much dead on. I felt comfortable after eating it, not full, but I can tell I ate something.
Sometimes you want to enjoy something without knowing too much about it. If you want to know more about the McRib including a scary cross section, check this out.
Would I Buy It Again:Yes. Recommended. McRib is a love/hate relationship and I have always liked them.

I wish they’d leave the McRib as a standard item…then I’d eat at McDonald’s MUCH more often!
Eureka!!! You found it. My journey continues…I still can’t find it. Note to McDonalds: Your pickles are terrible! They don’t belong on the McRib.
Patience my friend. One would assume they will hit MD soon enough. Agreed on the pickle and you can add their onion to the short list as well. Unless it is diced, I don’t like McDonald’s onion. When you break it down, shitty pickle, bad onion and a formed rubbery pork patty. Add it together and somehow it works…
I love McRibs and I haven’t had one in probably a decade. If they showed up here it would be like hooking up with an old girlfriend, save the onions, pickles and BBQ sauce. I guess that keeps the pork
Anyway, the sliced whole onions make the sandwich.
We haven’t had the McRib here in Los Angeles since about 2006. They should just put it on the reg menu.
mc rib is a standard item here in germany for years now. just had two of them today
