Does anyone eat Brats during the Winter?

Author: WIBIA | Filed under: Announcements/News

Catching up on a few reviews tonight and doing some house keeping on the site.  A lot of new readers this week, welcome.

This week, we launched the “At Home” segment and we have a new one for next week as well.  I am sure the suspense is killing you.

As far as reviews, we have hot dogs, Mexican, burgers from a recent road trip to northern Indiana.  Also, probably my most critical review yet!

Until then, enjoy this Brat that I made for dinner tonight.  Johnsonville Brat, Deli Mustard, Onion, pickle on the side and Baked Potato Salad from Fresh Market (WIBIA yes on the salad, even though it is $3.99 an lb.).   Cheap, quick, easy and damn good.  Camera in one hand, a cold Miller High Life in the other, nothing welcomes Spring more than this meal.

  1. Where’s the ‘kraut and the slaw? There’s got to be cabbage in there somewhere…especially with a Brat!

  2. I get that vinegary crunch from the pickle Bear. It’s a nice way of saying that I was out of kraut :(

  3. I eat brats in all seasons. Just had some a couple weeks ago, actually. They rule.

  4. Brats are good 12 months out of the year! :)

  5. My husband has been known to grill brats in January, with the snow falling. Love ‘em. And I have to agree – a little ‘kraut love :) .
