Take it from someone in the biz. There are few servers who won’t please the lady first. We will say it’s because of manners and chivalry, but it’s really because if she’s happy, she’s less likely to be whiny and put you in a bad mood which will affect the tip.
Well, the truth hurts, but at least I know now.
I am sure it is because I am eating for TWO (plus they know you will eat some of mine)
